Prithviraj Singh Chug is the CEO of Group Concorde, a leading GSSA organization that works across Asia Pacific, South Asia and the Middle East. The company specializes in providing passenger and cargo GSA solutions to airlines.
Group Concorde, founded by Pukhraj Chug, who serves as chairman and managing director, has expanded significantly and is now working in 15 countries and partnership with more than 30 airlines worldwide. Under the leadership of Prithviraj, the organization will still innovate and improve its service offers, strengthening its role as a reliable partner in the aviation industry.
How did you end up in air freight/logistics?
The family business was founded by my father; However, my grandfather worked at Air France Cargo. So it is seven decades cargo blood.
Which quote sounded to you most? ‘

What is the best advice you have ever received?
It’s hard to follow, but my dad always says that listening is free; Don’t say no to listening to someone.
If you could eat or die with any three people, who would it be and why?
Living and breathing aviation/air freight Every day I can only think of A. Pravin Singh van Riyadh Air: I would like to learn about his incredible vision and plan for Rx Cargo. Its plans to see Rx be a future leader in the global freight industry. B. Andres Bianchi, CEO of Latam Cargo, I am surprised how this airline grew and got so much market share on that massive continent. It’s going so well, and I would like to meet him. C. Harold Pang – of Qantas is a legend in the air freight industry and is not talked regularly. I only met him for coffee once, and I find him fascinating. Hope they read and meet me for dinner.
What is something we wouldn’t know about your resume?
I haven’t made a resume yet. I am an open book; Come talk to me and tell me your problems! I respect them and let them do their job. And always reward them for their hard work.
What is the one item without which you cannot travel?
My head cover for my prayers. I am, by the way, Sikh, so we have to cover our heads for prayers.
Who is your role model?
As a professional leader, I really look at Jan Krems. I have never seen a more dynamic and charismatic leader in the air freight industry. As an entrepreneur, I really look up to Rahatia, the founder of Indigo Airlines. He was a GSA, and I have so much respect for what he created from his vision.
What would you be called autobiography?
Kilos and cents earn tons and dollars.
Cats or dogs?
Dogs because my sons love them.
Early rise or night owl?
With over 100 days travel a year I have phases of both, but I am more a night owl.
What is the best and worst purchase you have ever done?
My Rolex Panda – I was happy to get it from a friend who is a trader. It becomes a wonderful talking point/icebreaker for so many people, especially men in business circles who love watches. I think half of the things my wife buys are bad purchases. I hope she doesn’t read it.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Egg and parantha (Indian bread) – my comfort food.
