Anna Balan is the head of Cargobooking, a direct quote for air freight and discussion platform powered by Awy Aviation Software (Awery). She oversees a team of 17 people, works to encourage industry acceptance of digital instruments, and is responsible for the continued development of the platform, its rapid acceptance and its success.
How did you end up in air freight/logistics?
I have been working in the air freight industry since 2018. Initially, I served as a project manager for software development projects, and then became a product manager before adopting the role of cargo discussions in 2022.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Do not compare yourself to others; You are one of the kind on your own unique journey.
What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
A stack through a high-mountain site to Trolltunga, Norway, and I believe in being a better version of myself, so my role model is Future Me.
