Avilease delivers three A320Neo aircraft to strategic partner SDH Wings


Avilease, a PIF company and a global aircraft rental, announced the successful delivery of three Airbus A320Neo aircraft to SDH Wings International Leasing Limited (‘SDH Wings’), a joint venture with the Chinese sovereign fund in which Avileease has a 10% stake. The three aircraft have been rental to an airline in Saudi Arabia in the long run. With these deliveries, SDH Wings now own twenty -five aircraft.

This transaction is a new phase in the collaboration between the two partners and is part of a broader memorandum of understanding (sleeve) to acquire a further twenty predominantly new technological aircraft.

Under the sleeve, Avilease SDH Wings will support to expand its naval portfolio, while the partnership with Sichuan Development International Holdings (SDIH), the majority shareholder of SDH Wings, is reinforced. By utilizing the expertise of Avilease in the leasing and financing of modern, fuel -efficient aircraft, SDH Wings wants to seize the opportunities in the aviation financing market.
