Like most aspects of her life, Lilly Singh approaches the end of the weekend with a clear intention. “Sunday is a big deal for me,” she says. “Sunday is my self -love, restart the day.”
The comic actress and personality began a career in her native of Toronto as a Youtube star. She moved to Los Angeles in 2015, first landing in a place near the wells of La Brea tar before moving to a house in the San Fernando Valley that shares with her dogs, Scarf and Punch.

“I moved to Los Angeles to get hot and the valley is very hot,” says Singh. “When people are complaining, it’s very hot, I’m thriving.”
She has already received the NBC interview program “A Little Targh With Lilly Singh” and led the Disney+ comedy “The Muppets Mayhem”. More recently, she co-wrote, produced and starred in the movie “Doin ‘It”, playing an application manufacturer that is hired to teach a sex class and decides that she needs her own practical education on the subject. Open in theaters on Friday.
Singh was a night owl for most of his life, often staying up until the early hours of the morning and waking up in half. To improve her mental health, she adjusted her approach and now gets up during the week at 7 am, so she has two hours to prepare mentally and physically for the day.
For a week of the week, however, where she is compassionate and makes an exception. “I probably won’t define an alarm on a Sunday,” she says.

9:00: Daily routine
Every morning I have certain mental health routines. I will always have diary in my front yard and I will always stretch and do the breath work. These are non -blacks.
9:30: Essential Market Items
After dealing and feeding the dogs, the number 1 stop is the Studio City Farmers Market. I will die in the hill to say that it is the best market of farmers. I take something in the market of farmers very seriously, which is the Kefir yogurt. I literally have a yogurt dealer, Orlando. I have to send him a message on Saturday night to be like: “Hold these flavors to me.” If you go there and not send them a message, they will be exhausted. When the Alphonso sleeve is at the station, you need to get there at 7 am to get it.
I walk on both sides, so I’m basically a legend in shape because, come on, it’s usually very hot.
10h: flower power
I get florals every Sunday. If I don’t get them from the farmers market, I will take them at Trader Joe’s. Every Sunday, redefines my house in terms of flowers. I put flowers everywhere in my house. I spend an hour just doing small bouquets and placing them on my table and in the kitchen and in the bathrooms, because it’s an easy dopamine hack and makes me happy during the week.
11h: the best brunch date
Almost every Sunday, I lead me to a solo brunch. No one can come with me. This is me leading to a date.
I go to the same place every time: Sweet butter kitchen. It is just for the bliss. I take an egg breakfast with two soldiers with yeast toast. I take my bacon. Depending on how much I worked that week and how much I want to spoil myself, I will also receive pancakes.
I love the environment. I will take my diary or sometimes just vibrate and appreciate my own company.
Mid -Dia: Planning Session
With each third Sunday, I make a monthly reflection. I track my last month against my annual goals.
I will also plan my social activities for next month. Almost every month, I organize a night of poker. Almost every Thursday, I make a dinner. I will guarantee that my social calendar is full for next month, because in Los Angeles, if you do not do it, you will not have friends and will be alone.
I am very about my diary. It is a covered diary that is smooth to the touch, with a specific Sharpie pen. It’s the only pen I want to use. And the diary has a pen holder, which is also crucial. And it has the string that saves your page – also crucial. And there are lines. I don’t want a diary that has no lines. He has to have a small tab on the back that will keep all my documents.
In my adult life, it was always organized. Maybe not at university or high school, but as I became a career woman, I like to be very, very organized.
13:00: I like home
I’m ready to eat again because Sundays are to eat. I love SMORGASBURG LA. Coming from Toronto, I’m really used to the Caribbean food and Asian foods. In Los Angeles, I feel that the best international food I found is in Smorgasburg.
If I want to stay with friends or if someone is out of town and I want to show them a long time, we will go there.
15:00: Sunshine State
I think the sun’s time is so important and nature is so important. Throughout the week, I don’t always spend a while out there, so I spend the time that humanly possible out there, and this is lying on the grass with my dogs or is in my pool.
17:00: In the list A
I don’t want you to think I’m a lonely, but if I’m doing things on their own, this will most often be on a Sunday. I love going to the movies. For me it is AMC at Universal [CityWalk]. My highest quality – this is not even an ad – is that I am a AMC STUBS A-LIST member. I take it very seriously.
I would probably have dinner and then a movie. So, I don’t just have popcorn for dinner, which I have done many times, but I try to avoid, I’m going to Kiwami by katsu-yathat is in venture. It’s one of my favorite sushi points. It looks very small and intimate. They have the best Lichia Martinis, and I’m a great Lichia Martini Girly. The team knows me because I go so often and they are so fast with the service.
It is crucial for me to say that one of the reasons I go to the cinema alone is that I am crazy about watching the previews. My friends always make me miss the previsualizations. I love to arrive early and I love to be sitting for the previsualizations. I went to the theater sometimes 10 minutes before anything is on the screen.
I like Universal because it is full of tourists. As someone who was not born and raised in Los Angeles, I love to see people experimenting with Los Angeles when I’m walking from parking to the theater, people have their things from Super Nintendo World and they have their universal trader. They are so excited to be there, and it reminds me, how, yes, this is a really exciting place for people.
22:00: Ready for the following week
I’m going back home, hugging the dogs, then I make sure I am ready for the week. I guarantee my house is in a good place. I make sure my flowers are bursting. I will probably make a hot tub or a sauna moment and then make my skin care routine.
23:00: One last entry diary
I don’t like watching anything in my room, because sleeping is a huge thing for me. I have a little insomnia, so I really try to end. At my night table, I have my night diary and I make a small diary of self-compactix.
