The first Lufthansa Cargo freighter flight back to Ben Gurion International Airport was led by senior leadership, including Stephanie Pöhn-Helbig, Head of Middle East, Africa, South Asia and CIS, and Captain Matthias Lehmann, Head of Transport Management and Flight Operations. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by Shaul Grimberg, head of sales and handling for Israel, together with his local team.
“We are now increasing our operations, and from February 2 we will once again offer five regular weekly freighter flights with our B777F and A321F,” says the LinkedIn post.

The passenger airlines of the Lufthansa group will also resume flights to Tel Aviv from 1 February.
Over the past few months, airlines around the world have suspended flights to a host of Middle Eastern locations due to the outbreak of fighting in the region.
