WFS expands at Schiphol with Menzies Cargo acquisition


Worldwide Flight Services Holland BV (WFS), a SATS company, has the acquisition of Menzies World Cargo (Amsterdam) eg, part of Menzies Aviation’s general cargo handling operations at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport (AMS), the most important international airport in the Netherlands in the Netherlands , complete.

The purchase, signed in August 2024, was closed on 31 January 2025 after completing the necessary conditions of the transaction, including consultation for local works.

The move increases the WFS’s warehouse capacity to more than 50,000 square meters at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, where WFS now serves more than 120 airlines and trucks. The additional cargo capacity will support the continuation of WFS’s high service levels in Amsterdam and provide space for future growth.
